Join us in your PJs, cozies or your choice of costume for Saturday morning cartoons and cereal at the Halifax Central Library, Paul O'Regan Hall.

We can’t wait to reveal some of the big name cartoons that are made right here by four studios in Halifax! Hosted by John Davie.

Saturday Morning Cartoon Host

John has worked primarily for DHX Media and its earlier incarnations since 2004, when he joined the team for the second season of the stop-motion series Poko.

During that time he has been a Script Coordinator, Writer and/or Voice Performer for a variety of animated series, including Lunar Jim, Inspector Gadget, Bo on the Go, Addison, Amazon Prime’s Wishenpoof, and the Netflix series Colorforms.

In addition to animation, John has worked in the field of Live-Action on such shows as This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Book of Negroes, Canada’s Handyman Challenge, and CBC-TV’s Short Film Face-Off.
