AFX Pitch Panel
Free and welcome to all to sit in and watch, but if you want to pitch click here to signup.
Have you ever wondered how an animation production gets started? Whether it’s a movie, short film, or a series, it all starts with an idea. That idea is then explained (pitched) to someone who has the authority to say ‘yes’ and if all goes well, the production is funded (given the green-light) and work begins.
This mock pitch session is an opportunity to see the pitching process in an open forum. The format is similar to Dragon’s Den or Shark Tank, where our animation panel will hear pitches from hopeful creators and give feedback. Our panelists will share their insights which will be engaging and informative for both audience and participants alike.
Our panel is not in a position to green-light any projects, but at the end of the session, the panel will deliberate and select a winner. All participants will get valuable experience and guidance in shaping their pitches.
