Lana Longbeard is a 52×11 minute original animated kids‘ series co-production from Copernicus Studios (Halifax, Canada) and Zephyr Animation (Paris, France).

About Lana Longbeard: Lana is the 11-year-old heir to the adventuring ship Mighty Windbreaker. She sails the Ten Realms with her captain father and unique crew, pursuing her dream of becoming a great adventurer.

About the Panel Members:

Dylan Edwards - Head of Development (Copernicus Studios); Creative Producer (Lana Longbeard)
Dylan Edwards is a Writer, Artist and Animator based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Murray Bain - VP, Art Director and Partner (Copernicus Studios)
Murray first entered the animation industry through “FunBag Studios” in Ottawa. Murray has worked in all forms of animation: paper, digital, and “tradigital”. He has the ability to jump from writing to drawing to programming – evidence of a unique and in-depth understanding of visual art, entertainment, and education in all their many forms.

Tony Mitchell - Supervising Art Director (Lana Longbeard)
Tony Mitchell is an artist and animator born in Dieppe, NB and now based in Halifax. Tony has worked on animated TV series such as George of the Jungle, Garth and Bev, Wild Grinders, Teen Titans Go, Bravoman, and Pickle and Peanut, as well as several music videos and many pilots he cannot speak of.

Alice Prodanou - Head Writer, Supervising Producer (Lana Longbeard)
Alice Prodanou is a Humanitas Prize and Emmy Award-winning creator, writer and showrunner. She’s story edited, written and produced dozens of live-action and animated TV series for Netflix, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney, including Hotel Transylvania, Inspector Gadget, Total Drama Island, 6Teen and My Babysitter’s a Vampire. Most recently, Alice was the writer / showrunner of Star Stable: Mistfall, the YouTube series she created based on the hugely successful Star Stable online and mobile game, which is currently in development as a long-form series.
